Another What Is It?

Post by jerryd6818 »

Found this while dinkin' around on eBay this morning. To me, it looks like a very used and abused fish knife with a broken back spring and the scaling/hook removal blade broken off and re-profiled. What ever it is, it's a nasty piece of work.

I don't think they have a leather punch, Joe. Isn't that second blade a fish scaler / hook remover on fish knives?

 Hay Jerry, I was being a bit sarcastic about the broken
back spring being confused with a leather punch.

Now if I catch a leather fish .............. :D

Oh.
Sorry.
I was being literal again. ::dang:: Sarcasm is my kind of humor (just call me Don Rickles) but sometimes it doesn't come through so swell in the written word.

Backspring doesn't look broken, just appears to need to be pinned back in...not that it's worth buying to do that to it. If I had it already I would do it, as the time and cost are negligible.
