CASE XX TESTED 3 5/8" RED BONE CANOE

Post by btrwtr »

This auction is a big question mark to me. Zero feedback on this seller who thinks this knife is 3 5/8" long. Not Tested and definitely not a Canoe. Looks more like a 5 3/8" red bone Coke Bottle C61050 SAB to me. Mint book on it is somewhere around $550 depending on where you look. Offered for $1500 OBO.

Do you think the seller actually has this knife?

If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

On Mar-21-14 at 10:03:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

CASE XX TESTED 3 5/8" RED BONE CANOE
If they do it has been listed for quite a while ::hmm::

Zero reputation, picture taken on an uncovered matress (like someone getting ready to move), only two pictures and doesn't really know what he has. Just too little to instill enough faith in me to spend $1500.

With Ebay your money's safe and if they have zero feedback, they'll never see a dime of it until you've had plenty of time to receive and examine the knife anyway. (assuming of course you use paypal) I'd worry more if they had a hundred+ feedback.
Not sure about the screwy description, even a thieving idiot could do enough research to figure out how to describe a ghost knife properly. ::shrug::
