This fleam belongs to an old friend and the blades are stamped with the curved B. WHARTON (over) A CROWN (over) CAST STEEL. Handles are horn.
Goins does not list it and Levine only comments that the firm is from Germany.
I feel sure this is quite old and wonder if might have had medical use as opposed to vet use.
Sure could use info such as dates and anything else someone might know.

It looks like a product of England, pre 1900.
