I can't offer a whole lot more. "Blades Guide to Knives and Their Values" (2005 publication) shows that Stag Cutlery Co. was owned by Imperial Schrade and formerly owned by JOWIKA, shows location as Listowel, Ireland. No beginning production date given.
Those old hobo knives are pretty cool collectables. I can't tell from the picture what the handle material is but that might offer some clue to the age.
