Good review Scott. You're right. Tomato skins are tough cookies. My KAI Shun kitchen knifes are razor sharp and they have to be freshly sharpened by KAI before they will cut through tomato skin with out "sawing" at it. Even then it requires a small "sliding" action to get started.

I've never carried my Boys Knife (first release with bottom bolsters {or is that end caps?}) but I like it a lot. She's a mighty fine knife.
