I too hope you get it Dave. If you do, I'll be envious. I've looked at that TB Coffin Jack and looked at it, then I look at the price and my nervous system shuts down. ::facepalm::

$7,200 for the pair!
Not in the real world. Under $300 from the right dealer. Wesson Ace Hardware in Wesson, MS is having a closeout on their Case Knives right now. Give them a google and see if they have one.

Bob, these are full customs by tony b
The ones @300 are by Case, other people can
elaborate further. Hence the vast difference in price.

Happy Birthday Dave O on the big seven-oh.
Not only are the T.B. customs out of my comfort
range so are the $300 Case/TB coffin jacks.
Quite happy with the BGC Winchester version.
Lot more bang for the buck imho.

WJ, isn't that just a splendid knife? You're correct. A far sight less expensive than a TB or a Case TB. I had two of the Winchesters but traded one for that Trustworthy Hardware 72 clone. I may have stepped on my crank again but it felt right at the time.

I've been drooling over those tb coffin jacks for a while. Alas, too much else I can do/get for 300 bucks. Thanks for posting the Winchester Wosey. I haven't seen one before and it's a great looking knife. I'm going to check those out.

You are so right Jody. One put together by Tony won't go cheap (or even close). Tony will tell you that the Case version really isn't different from the ones he makes by hand because they're all made from the same pattern and materials, but there's no doubt that the Bose name sells. I too have the Blue Grass Winchester version (very nice!) as well as the Case TB Coffin Jack. You can't go wrong with either.

Go gettem Dave O! A matched set would be nearly impossible to put together except straight out of Wilfred Works and he not taking orders anymore.

I just had to have a reason to post the beauty of the pair. It is not likely I , or anyone I know will be getting these for me. When I was in the dough, I got some pretty spectacular customs though . I have posted them on the forum occasionally. I was neighbors to some big names in the custom knife world. Both left this world somewhat early. (Warenski and Ence . ) I have owned several of each makers work.
