That looks like a very nice Trapper to me. The number, being 3 digits, would suggest it was the 13th accredited knife in a production run of at least 100. It may or may not have been the 13th knife produced in that run because there may have been some that didn't get past QC and get allocated a serial number. Also, it may be that the number simply signifies that it was the 13th knife to be allocated a number rather than the 13th knife in the production run sequence.

One thing's for sure, there will only have been one knife of this pattern with that number and IMO the fact that it happens to be 13 and that for some people the number 13 has connotations attached to it, only adds to its appeal.

Jrayyy, you may want to use the system I adopted
relating to numbered knives. If the sum of all the digits
in the serial number equal 13 I wouldn't touch it with a
12 foot 12 inch pole.
As you can see the sum of your knife's digits is four.

Just to be on the safe side you can carry a rabbit's foot in the same pocket you tote ole
#013 in so the Luck quotient will balance out.

Now some naysayers may argue that the lucky rabbit's foot is a rural myth. As proof they will suggest if you don't agree, just ask the rabbit. This is an intentional distortion of the facts since they fail to mention that the rabbit foot that is deemed lucky is the one of four that was not eaten along w/the rest of the waskily wabbit.
heh heh heh heh heh
Hope this helps

In many Asian countries including China, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan the number 4 is the unluckiest number of all!  Many tall buildings do not have a 4th floor just like in the USA, some buildings don't have a 13th floor - they skip from 12 to 14. In China the number 4 is a homonym with the word "death".

The spelling (Chinese characters) of the word death and 4 are the same just pronounced differently. 14 is one of the unluckiest numbers of all.

jayray, from what Hukk taught us I'd say it's a good thing you can't get your knife thru the airport if/when you go to Asia.

Least it's not a cracked MOP 013, that's probably real bad somewhere, like Tibet or Somoaville.

Least now we know why they don't play golf in Asia.
Nobody wants to holler out "FOUR!"

I thought homonyms were what grits are made from.
Now whether grits are lucky or not I guess depends on which side of the Mason-Dixon line you're on.

I was born on the wrong side of the Mason-Dixon line for grits.
They are most definitely UNLUCKY for me! ::barf::

I’ll never forget the first time I tried to eat some.
They put them on my tray in the Marine Corps.
I thought it was real lumpy Cream of Wheat (which I don’t like either), But I was real hungry.
But I found out I was not hungry enough to eat grits.

I don’t know how y’all can eat those things!
