Knife Repairman needed
Knife Repairman needed
I am needing someone who can restore/repair a valuable family heirloom. It is not very valuable except to our family, however. I have an automatic Schrade knife that my wife's grandfather carried during World War I. He had it with him during campaigns in France and Belgium. He is said to have kept it as his "constant companion". Subsequent misuse by a few grandchildren has gotten it into a state that I, as a knife guy, find unacceptable. Do any on this blog know someone who could do this fine old knife some good by restoring it to a working condition? I would like to keep it as original as possible, including the well worn blade. Thank you!
