Schrade Walden 225H picked up yesterday

Post by Landersknives »

Picked up a few knives yesterday and this was in them. I like hunters my dad used to carry a Queen Steel with him everywhere. Lol. I worked on this one as soon as I got home. :D Still have to finish it up but I thought I would put it out here and see what my fellow knife maniacs thought. ::tu::

Nice looking old Schrade! Looks like it's got a lot of life left in it!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Great looking old Schrade! ::tu::
I have the 225H that my dad got on the 1960s. He was really excited to get it. He often field dressed a deer with a pocket knife and usually had to sharpen it at least once in the process. He said "now I won't have to sharpen my knife half way through a deer,"

Great knife and a nice find!
I hope you enjoy it.

Finding an old prize like that is very satisfying and then cleain' her up and toting her for a day or so, then go lookin' for another one to put back in service ::tu:: . Good job, Ed!

Thanks guys. I was very excited with my find. She really is a beauty and I am going to tote her for a bit. Found a nylon sheath that fits her perfect. I have several of these hunters. I will post a few more later. It was a great day of knife pickin' for sure. I got this beauty and a Kissing Crane, Case 59L, Case pruner and a Buck Creek that I may be able to use as a donor for my friends knife. I really do like the way this one has turned out. ::nod::
