what tool to use to grind a nail pull?
what tool to use to grind a nail pull?
As a wood carver I prefer the older carbon steel pocket knives of yesterday while I am on the go or away from my tool box. I like to find old beaters that most don't want and regrind the blades and such to suit my needs, clean them up, resharpen them, and put them back into the work force. Sometimes when I regrind a blade I end up grinding off the nail pull. So I have to grind a new one from time to time. Any of y'all have any good suggestions or tips on grinding nail pulls? What sort of tool do you use? I have been using a dremel and a ground down stone bit. It does ok but not near as pretty as the factory ones. Any ideas? Greatly appreciated.

dremel and a cut off disk works pretty well
you can punch new ones but not on a blade that is already tempered
