Imperial shell barlow mod part deux

Post by glennbad »

I did a mod similar to this awhile back. Another customer wanted something like the other one.

I wish I had more of this bone, the jigging is great. New NS bolsters, of course, with some threading on them for an extra touch.

Outstanding work Glenn! ::tu::
Did you make new liners or did you use the steel liners?
Great treatment on the bolsters too! ::nod::
Did you solder them in place?

That is nice bone. I have some similar but in a different shade. I haven't used any yet because it was not what I had in mind for the project for which I ordered it. That gives me some ideas for using it though.

You have been busy!
I am starting to feel slow, but I will be posting a 16 piece set of kitchen cutlery in a week or so that has occupied most of my time for the last couple months.

Glenn I've never carried a Barlow but one like that could persuade me to do so. Excellent work. ::tu::

Thanks guys!

Dale, I did reuse the original liners, and soldered the bolsters to it.

It's not that I've been that busy, it's just that I am winding up a bunch of projects at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing the kitchen cutlery job!
