I'm pathetic, it's still squirreled away in a box of unfinished projects in the shop. If people qould quit giving me work for just one month I might be able to get some of this junk finished and get my backlog lowered

Don't worry about it Kaleb.............I know you work a lot faster than this old man.

I probably have 2 years forth of backlog in my shop.
If repairs and custom orders stopped coming in,
I would probably be busy until 2012 fixing all the knives I have in my parts drawers!
Beside those, I have a drawer full of fixed blade blanks I need to finish.

Well, it only took me 10 years, and most of the members who showed interest in this project I don't see post much anymore. But here is the finished project! New contoured brass guard, stacked leather handle and aluminum pommel. Mirror polished the whole works

I don't remember seeing any of this thread prior to today. This issue must be quite common with personal projects and busy people, I even have a few things laid back that I'm to finish some day ::facepalm:: .
Back to the project that has finally been completed, what a beauty!! Congratulations Kaleb, you've done a number on that one! ::tu::
