Since the OP I've found two more. Stamped with a patent number instead of Utica.
stamp reads
PATENT NO.

I bought a couple in '11 at the semi-annual flea market and gave them to my grandsons.

There was a super steal and deal on eBay this Spring so I picked up several of these little coping knives.

For me a special find (also this Spring). A Utica stamped 72 clone.

I wonder how many of those 72 clones were contract knives made by Camillus? ::shrug::

Quite a few. That was a very popular pattern. A perfect carry size. I have several tang stamps I'm sure were made by Camillus. I'm pretty well convinced this Utica wasn't though.

Monk that is a pre 1937 stamp and the etch is my favorite etch hands down!! Here is a little one I picked up not long ago. It's a Pocket Pard that Utica made to go with the Parker pens of the same era. I have 2 others in the box but I have always wanted a green handled one.

I believe that the stamp on your knife is post 1937 and to get closer I would think after 1950 but I an not positive. I just got 2 more from the Utica Factory collection and will post pictures tomorrow.

I just scored the first Utica that I can ever remember buying and it was a scout knife of course.
Can anyone tell me about when it was made. It has the Utica cutterly com,Utica NY with the Utica at the top in a arch.
It's not as big as I thought so I plan on removing the bell and using it as a edc.
I got it because I liked the way the can opener was made.

I found this old girl hiding at the bottom of display at a junk store $9. It looks early and is in good condition. I love the bone. Still has some snap too. Served someone well. I cleaned a pound if crude out of it before it would work. First UTICA I ever got
