Mike, just to make myself understand......are all four blades replacable?
Beautiful knife to go with your other outstanding Nagle's. ::tu::

The Nagle I got from Norhwest Knives and Collectibles. They put out a monthly catalog of knives, watches and other cool stuff. I have been doing business with them for years. The owner, Bill Clauson, started me buying NM or better etched knives years ago when i was just buying period with no rime or reason. Check out the 2 etched Utica's I posted in that thread!!

Picked up this Nagle a few years ago , master side blades are removable . Reverse tang has pat date of 1914 .
First scout style I’ve seen .
Wondering if this came in a leather pouch like most Nagles ?
Thanks for looking ,

Mike

I have never seen a Nagle scout knife. I have an original catalog and they show a equal ended frame that can take 4 blades but now with a bail. There are many ways to tell if it is a Nagle frame or another companies scout frame with Nagle blades put in it. First thing is the pivot pin completely round? Do the Nagle blades come out? What are marked on the other blades?

Blades are all marked except for the punch blade , Nagle reblade knife co New York . Reverse tangs are stamped pat 1914 . Not sure on the pivot pin , I’ll have to take a closer look but the blades do look removable . Fit and finish is perfect , looks original to me but I’m no expert on Nagles .

Can you post a picture of the opening where the blades fold into with the blades open. What are the liners made of brass?

Awesome Roger! Two Nagle displays in this thread. Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't anymore of them around.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Is that a great deal that went for do they go lower or higher? This is a great looking knife and love the extra blades that can be changed.

They tend to go for this or a little more if in good condition, that knife was very nice condition.
