My small collection of Keen Kutters. I would like more but competition for the few good ones that come up on ebay has gotten pretty stiff.

On the barlow, you need to look at the tang stamp. If it says "E.C. Simmons", it's pre WWII, if it doesn't (and my guess is that it doesn't) it would most likely be after the war. The general construction of the knife appears to me to be Camillus manufacture (obviously barlows are all pretty similar however), made for Shapleigh c 1940' - 50's.

you are right, this has no EC Simmons below the tang stamp. Main blade has pattern number on the other side of the tang - 829.

Thanks

Heres a big E.C.Simmons K.K 4-1/4" cigar jack

The other is a e.c. Simmons kk warncliff whitter that has a surgical blade as one of the second blades.
Looks like a littler warncliff blade. But my book calls it a surgical blade.

Dang Rig those are beauties!!!! ::tu::

Scott, shame about the nail nick, that's often a product of someone using the back of the blade like a screwdriver, NOT a good idea.

That postcard is pretty politically incorrect. A postcard like that might get you a visit from the ASPCA. ::paranoid::

Here is a pretty rare WWI era Keen Kutter military folding knife. I have seen several like the one I posted on page 5 but this is the first one this size and without the marlin spike blade.

Gotta love the bone handles on this one!
