I picked up this Aerial at the Easton,PA show last month. I liked the look of the equal end knives, The seller wasn't sure weather or not the handle material is original. I'm posting this to see if anyone can say. Either way, this is a well made knife in nice shape.

Here's my latest pick-up

Case xx 62087
1940-64 this knife was made closer to the 1940 date because of the tall "S" in the word Case on the shield, towards the end of this period the "S" was shorter.

I have one just like it Steve99f. I would presume handles to be celluloid and original. ::tu::

daddynewton,

I really liked the red of the handles so it was an easy decision to pick it up. Thanks for confirming that there is at least one more out there just like it.

Here is a Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Co fish jack made in Germany by(?).Horn scales;fluted bolsters;unusually shaped shield, and half stops on both blades.A gift from my sister-in-law who told me it belonged to her grandfather. An unusual pattern that you don't see very often.

Man that knife is amazing! ::drool:: That's one of the ones I wouldn't be able to put down for very long. You're sister in law did you well. I've got some pretty cool in laws as well that have gifted me a couple old family knives. Some real treasures. Congratulations on that one. ::handshake::

With Bolsters, Liners, Pins and whatnot is an Aluminum Handle ALL that bad?
Doesn't trip MY trigger in any case.

Sure. Why not? You might need an emergency substitute for a fuse and not have any pennies in your pocket.
