Some customs & some production knives..........
Going through re-shooting some pictures I thought I would post up a few of them. Might have posted some before but my mind doesn't work too well anymore. So here gore ready or not...........
#1 Four miniature fixed blades I bought on e-Bay years ago. No idea who made them.
#2 Five theatre style knives:1)a double edged dagger that came out of a military collection about 35 years ago.Scary sharp! 2)Another double edged dagger with an ornately carved wood handle and pommel made of stag carved with multiple lion's heads.Blade etched,"cum deo et mano" with a griffon and a double headed eagle.3)A double edged dagger with rings of brass and red micarta for a handle.4)Another double edged dagger with rings of bone and aluminum with what looks like a dog head pommel.5)A theatre style knife with rings of plastic, bone, and aluminum with a pommel shaped like a boot.
#3 A hand made knife with a one piece machined handle that has micarta inserts and the blade is pinned to the handle.Sheath came with the knife.
#4 Five knives.#1 A parker mini-Boot knife. #2 A hand made double edged dagger with a one piece handle made of horn. #3 A knicker knife made by Westphal in Austria. #4 A double edged throwing knife marked with a buck's head and the letters M M on either side of it. #5 A Western boot knife.
#5 A Ralph Bone boot dagger.
#6 A Jimmy Lile drop point hunter made for Duxback(#333 of 500)
#7 A custom drop point hunter by George Cousino of Onsted MI(#686)a gift from my son & daughter one Christmas.
#8 A custom double edged dagger by Cogswell & Harrison;London gunmakers of very high end shotguns.Perhaps a companion piece to one of their shotguns.
#9 A custom double edged dagger with ivory handles(unmarked) made out of brass.
#10 a custom belt buckle knife(non removeable)by some named Browder(#91).

Page three:
#1,2.&3 Knives by Tom McLuin of Dracut Mass. I also have the first friction folder he ever made. Tom makes mostly automatics now and is semi-retired. A good guy and a good friend.
#4&5 An unusual slide blade knife with ivory micarta handles.Marked EL in an oval.Beautiful work but awkward to open.
#6 A Randall model 7-5 once owned by Bob McKinley(whomever that may be).
#7 & 8 Two unmarked knives with unusual wooden sheaths.

Page four:
#1 A custom tri cornered knife with contoured micarta handle. Looks almost like an assassin's dagger.
#2 A skeletonized knife I got from a neighbor who got it from a fellow worker.
#3 & 4 A double edged dagger with a clear plastic handle with a yellow jacket embedded in the end.
#5 An unmarked mini skinner that was originally a skeleton knife. I made ivory handles for it from some old piano keys.

Re: Some customs & some production knives..........
Last page:
#1 & 2 Two knives by someone named Ken Parkins.
#3 A large well made theatre knife marked LJM.Handle is red micarta and aluminum rings with aluminum guard and pommel.Held together with an Allen screw in pommel.
#4 A mini fighter with stag handles and sheath in a bolo tie by Jim Turecek of Derby CT.
#5 A massive double edge knife with brass & steel ring handle and steel S guard. This thing is more like a short sword.
#6 A small hunter with handle of plastic, micarta, and aluminum rings.
#7 An unmarked bowie hunter with stag handle.
#8 A small dagger made from a Nicholson file with red plastic handle.
#9 An obsidian dagger made with an animal's jawbone for a handle.
#10 And last but not least probably the ugliest knife I have ever seen. Made of 5/16ths steel it is mega crude and is engraved with a set of crossed eyeballs on one side and the name RUTH on the other.
And that concludes tonight's postings. Will post some more tomorrow.

Re: Some customs & some production knives..........
Sorry for not posting the last knife in the last post;must have been tired. Here it is in the # 1 and #2 photo.
#3 is a handmade knife with a cast aluminum handle.I purchased it from the maker's son.He told me his dad made it in his home land of Hungary and escaped to the USA in 1956 when Russia invaded it.
#4 is an oddly shaped hand made knife that I bought from an e-Bay seller in Texas. No info on it.
#5 is an unusually thin handmade knife with red micarta handle and brass guard.
#6 is a handmade knife with an unusually shaped handle of multi-colored discs.
#7 is another handmade knife with a multi-colored handle.Don't think it was the same maker.
#8 is a large bowie style knife with three fullers and a tip that has a cap lifter and screwdriver made into it.White plastic(polypropylene maybe)handle with inlays of strip brass in a star design.
#9 is a very heavy hand made knife with wood handles.
#10 is a handmade knife with a very unusual one piece blade/guard using a piece of stag that looks to be from a carving set.
