Henckels & Weltersbach FB's & GEC 42

Post by kootenay joe »

Three knives for sale all as new, never used.
J.A. Henckels 10 1/2" fixed blade 'White HUnter' pattern. The top edge has very fine teeth for sawing. Marked on blade flats is:
"J.A.Henckels/Friodur" Twins Logo "Solingen/Germany". The edge on this knife is actually sharp right from the factory !
Sheath is original and as is common to many German knives is not as sturdy as USA sheaths.
$120

Wilh Weltersbach 9 1/4" Stag handled Hunter. Absolutely beautiful knife, the finest German fixed blade Hunter that i have ever owned.
The top edge of blade is very sharp for it's entire length. Original sheath.
$100

GEC "Yellow Rose" # 421114LB, 4 1/4", smooth yellow bone handles, easy to open, locks up 100% solid, blade tip centered when closed.
New, never used. I am the original owner (from KSF). There are some light streaks across the blade near the tip, front side. I don't know how these got there, no blade rub. These streaks are not seen in my picture. What you do see are shadows from overhanging tree branches.
SOLD

All prices include PP fees and shipping; returnable for refund if not satisfied
Please pm or email me for further info/pictures and to purchase.

I do not know age of Henckels. I bought it about 5 or more years ago from another collector.

As the link states Weltersbach sold most of the knives they made using the Weidmannsheil branding, and they also made knives for numerous other Solingen knife companies. It is my understanding that the knives marked "Weltersbach" are their top line, the best of all the knives they manufactured.

Henckels is now SOLD.

Weltersbach still looking for new home. This is the best of all German Stag Hunters i have had in hand. I think it was made for the German market, not an export to USA knife.
