knife info

Post by Berryb »

I did some horse tradin' a couple of days ago and ended up with this one. I can't find out anything about the knife or the company. I get hits on google but they either go nowhere or someplace completely unrelated.
I did find what looks to be an identical knife, with a different manufacturer's tang stamp.
The first thing that I'd be interested in is the logo on the tang. It looks like an explosion. Anybody know about this one?

Goins lists the name but no information on it.BRL also lists it but the dates are 1797 to the present time(1986 in that catalog0.The owner was named K.P.Dorndorf if that is any help.

Tang stamps hide more than they reveal.
