Need help identifying a Italian Mini dagger

my dad gave me this knife

and he got it from his dad

My dad said that my grandfather bought it just before he went to world war 2

And he said that it said it was marked Italy

Welcome to AAPK! The knife you have appears to be an Imperial small fishtail jack or bowtie as some call it.They were made in a couple of sizes.Not sure of the availability prior to WWII but they were very popular post war. Collector wise they aren't exceptionally valuable but as a family keepsake they are priceless. Thanks for showing it.
