Nice IXL stag

Post by GerryD »

This is also a recent purchase and for once I'm about up to speed with this one.
Its about 4" with two blades , a main blade of about 3.5" and a smaller blade about 2" long. It looks like stag to me but I'm not 100% sure.
Anyway I thought it was worth a punt.

Could be stag but I think I would lean more toward jigged worm groove bone, Really nice old piece what ever it is ::tu:: Terry

When the handle material looks that nice it doesn't matter what it is. The pinched bolsters add a bit of class too. Overall just a superb knife. ::tu::

Great looking knife. Long pulls, swedges is n both blades, pinched bolsters, what's not to like? And looks like "European stag" to me. ::tu::
