Old Japanese Folder?

Post by JohnR »

Picked this folder up the other day. Appears to be Japanese, only marked on blade with what I assume is the makers mark. Jigged bone handle, it is a large knife.
I have looked all over the net and can find very little out there, possibly WW2 era, could also be 50's, 60s. Any help identifying is appreciated.

Thanks guys, Randy, pretty glad to get this one also. They don't seem to crop up all that often, I think in the last year I have only seen 2 others that I bid on.
Wish there was more information out there on these.
