A new one to me...G. deLashmutt Co.fixed blade

Post by knife7knut »

Got this one the other day in a pile of knives.Picked it out because at first I thought it was a USA made knife until I looked at the stamp.Blade shape is reminiscent of an old Marbles fixed blade;stacked leather washers with black, red, and brass spacers at either end and an aluminum pommel secured with a brass nut.Except for a couple of divots in the leather handle it is in excellent shape.Sheath is standard German style common to most 1950's era knives although I think this one might be a little earlier.Anyone ever heard of this company?
