Germany "DELSTONE" Solingen Knives.

Post by New_Windsor_NY »

Yesterday morning, this multi tool pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my first example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It will be a welcomed addition to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is a DELSTONE, two blades, four tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a punch or awl, a file and scissors), five tang stamps, 3" closed (not including the bail), all metal, multi tool, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp has a symbol or logo AND also says, "DELSTONE (over) SOLINGEN (over) GERMANY" The main blade back tang stamp says, "STAINLESS" The secondary blade front tang stamp says "R" The cap lifter or bottle opener front tang stamp says "R" The punch or awl front tang stamp says "R" The main blade has no half stop, an ok opening snap and no closing snap. The secondary blade has no half stop, an ok opening snap and an ok closing snap. The four tools, the cap lifter or bottle opener, the punch or awl, the file and the scissors, ALL open and close properly, as designed, with no issues. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I gave it a VERY minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

It looks like a Browning 2318F6 Sportsman II (Made in Germany). I can't help wondering if Delstone made these for Browning.
