The few I have are very well put together. I took a good look at them can not see any fault at all. Think I will try and find a few more to add to the other few. Thanks for the info

The 108mm line of Victorinox knives were produced starting in the late 1970's and the GAK or German Army Knife was the beginning. However Victorinox wanted to broaden the line for the civilian market as well and produced several models and some with different scale materials. The civilian line of 108mm knives were called the "Safari" line.
Here is a GAK with special ordered NATO markings for NATO troops. The regular GAK had the Federal Bundeswehr Eagle shield/crest instead of the NATO marking.

The Mauser was a special ordered knife for the Mauser company. It has the same basic tools as a GAK but adds a special clip pointed blade with Mauser writing on the blade and a Mauser shield.

Here is the civilian model known as the Safari Trooper.

This is the Safari Pathfinder. It has no bottom side tools.

This one is know as the Solo Plus. It has only the blade and the corkscrew.

Here is a Imitation Stag Hunter. It has a curved gutting blade with smooth edge. It can also come with a serrated gutting blade as an option. There was a small limited number of genuine stag scaled Hunters made but they are scarce and highly prized. The easy way to tell the difference when looking at photos of them is a genuine stag scaled Hunter will have pins protruding through the stag material at each end. Of course when you have one in your hand it is easy to tell the difference.

Picked up a bunch of small SAK's at the flea market the other day.Needed some cleaning and a handle glued but for the price I couldn't go wrong:50 cents apiece!

There were 3 unusual ones in the group(one I forgot to take pictures of). One had a very unusual blade(combination cap lifter,wire stripper,and Philips screwdriver).The unpictured one has black scales and is inlayed on one side with the name O'Laughlin and instead of a shield has a shamrock.I'll get a pic up soon.
The last one has 7 blades on it and looks like they put two small ones together.Never seen one like it.All except one were Victorinox;the plain blue scaled one is a Wenger. Another one had a broken backspring.

Got this interesting souvenir Victorinox Spartan with the Neuschwanstein Castle on it. It is a castle in Germany.

Here is a rare MiniChamp with 10 tools on it called the MiniChamp XL. The extra 2 tools are a golfers divot fork and an old style cut nail file.

Thanks Stan. I have a utility knife (I think) with one of those on it (in it?).

Victorinox never made any specific tools for Pipes that I know of. They did make a cigar cutter/punch tool on a 74mm knife.

The Cuticle Pusher tool is found on a lot of Japanese made knives too. I see them on various stainless steel scaled slim gentleman's type knives.
