So I've scratched that itch, several times since my last post. My latest is a Snap-on Speed Bump. Love the profile of that blade, not all that crazy about the locking system.

Just added a blue Scallion to the pile. Now I'm thinking seriously about the red, the green and the yellow Scallion. The idea of those in a group is more appealing each time I look at the blue Scallion.

Why yes dogg, I do. I never thought I'd say this about an inanimate object but that blade profile is very attractive.

What the?! ::paranoid::
How did this thread elude me I wonder?
Here's a couple of my Kershaws.....both Ken Onion designs, the Storm II and the Whirlwind.
Also have a Scallion that has gotten more carry time over the last 5 years than just about any knife I own! No pics of the Scallion though, but it's got the rough black synthetic scales, same as Jerry's yellow one posted earlier....speaking of which, I gotta snag me one of those yella's....I bet you can spot that sucker across the room! Could drop it in the woods or around camp and find it lickety split. ::nod::

Mike the blade profile on that Storm looks a whole lot like the blade on a Boa and on a Speed Bump. Is the Storm USA made and is it SpeedSafe (don't make me look it up).

Edit: Oh crap. Never mind about the made in USA. It's on the blade in the picture. ::facepalm::

I really like it when they put the date on the blade. I wish they did that with all their knives.

Nope Jerry, it's not speedsafe...but due to the angle of the thumbstud and the construction of the knife, it opens up with just a tiny little flick of the wrist, by far the smoothest thumbstud-opener I've ever handled, just a great super heavy duty workhorse of a knife!
Any yes I agree, I love the fact that they have a "born on" date on the blade, that would be a really nice bonus if they did that with all their blades...or at least the US made ones. ::nod::

A black handle Scallion next week and I think I'll be finished with them. I picked up this display to go along with what I have. It's kinda cool. The blade is not sharpened (and is etched "Sample: Not Sharp"). There's a red LED in the upper left corner (looking at it) that flashes. It will be interesting to see how long I can put up with that. :lol:

...Nice loookin' set there Jerry! I'm still eyeballin' ol yeller there....
I'm pretty sure they offer some other color schemes on the scallion too though if you really want to be a complete-ist about it. ...Believe I've seen a rainbow one somewhere.....

Yeah and a pink one too. The rainbow is too much $$ and I have no desire to own the pink one. I'm just going to get a black one and quit. I don't have a burning need to own all the colors.

Make knifegirl1 an offer of $29 on this one. You only get three chances but if it's like the others I bought from her $29, $30 or $31 should be accepted.

Both are available in all black. The Scallion is a little more difficult to find and both are usually more expensive than some of the other models.

I've noticed two new colors for Leeks. Orange and Purple. For some odd reason, I'm pretty hot for orange so I had to have it. It came in today's mail.
