7223 Celluloids

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

7223 Celluloids

Post by kimradford »

Any of you all know anything about the 23 various 1 of 6 celluloid trappers found on pages 71 & 72 of Parker's Case Classics: Best in the Long Haul? I have what I'm sure is a Camouflague 7223. It looks just like the one found on Worth Point and in the book except instead of an XX etch,it has the long tail C etch on the blade. It has the 6223 tang stamp.
Thank you

I posted this in another forum also. Hope no one is offended by the cross over.

Thank you for the reply, Dean. I consign these knives and I have receipts for 95% of everything. I found a receipt that said "7223 1 of 6" so I figured it was but since it has the long tail C instead of the XX, it threw me off.
