All About Pocket Knives

Hi Everyone!!!

Today is March 2, 2010 - I'm a bit late getting this month's drawing posted. Sorry to keep you in suspense. Dang 'ol slacker

What we have for this month is a two knife giveaway. Just like last month, these knives made their way to AAPK via a great deal Mike (knifeswapper) Latham made with us. Thanks again Mike!!!

Down to business...

First knife is a 2007 Bulldog Brand barlow knife with bone handle slabs.

Second knife is a Kershaw lockback knife that I really don't know much about. It must be from the companie's earlier years. It has Italy stamped on the back tang! Handles are wood.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 1000.

You will have until the end of the day on March 30 (11:59 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. There will be two winners. 1st winner will get their choice of the two knives. Both winners will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on March 31. The Individual closest to the selected number will be the 1st winner. If there is a tie, the 1st winner will be the closest number without going over and the second winner will be the closest number that did go over. In the event there is not a tie, the second winner will be the Individual who is second closest to the selected number. If there is a tie for second closest pick, the 2nd winner will be the closest number without going over. I hope that makes sense to someone because I'm not sure if it even makes sense to me yet...

No. The program is supposed to prevent double entries. I will have to check and see why that's not working correctly. In the meantime, I deleted all of the double entries I could find. If there are ever any multiple entries that do not get caught ahead of the deadline, we will use the smallest digit picked... sound reasonable?

Might I suggest anyone who makes a double entry be disqualified. That just might discourage those who would try to do it.

I have played 422 since I joined this site, it is my aniversary.But this month someone beat me to it so I took the next best thing in 423

I guess 4/23 is lucky too, if you think about it, the wife didn't leave me on 4/23 after the night of 4/22/78. I hope to have this knife as long as I have had the wife!

Bryan. Just recieved my knife today in the mail! Beautiful piece! This knife appears to be a custom. It has some buffing compound on the bottom and handles made of some exotic wood that doesn't look like anything that came from a factory. Knlfeswapper can you tell me anything abnout this piece.
