Mike:
Absolutely gorgeous. I should be so lucky to own that. (unfortunately, I am not, only thing I ever won was the Draft)
thanks for donating it.

To all who have been so kind - Thank you very much. The kindness of your comments is so rewarding to me that it makes the donation of the knife pale in comparison. I am so very fortunate to be able to spend my days in my lapidary as young as I still feel at only 57. I have been fortunate to have already been retired for over two years through a lot of very hard work for over 36 years, and being wise in investing too....

Always "pay yorself first"..... For all the 36+ years I worked I saved and invested 1/2 of all I earned in overtime just working for the Post Office. Just my personal advice to all of you. Debt is your enemy, and savings - your friend and future.

Those are some great words to live by, I too could have retired at 52 years but as fortune has it I was let go after 21 years with the same company and had to start all over.
It is never to late for a new start!

Yes. Congrats jlkitch. You have been a member here since Nov. of 2005. You have made a total of 8 posts in 4 years. Half of these posts have been in the free knife give away forum. You suceeded..... Congrats. Redrummed, your donation was above and beyond, just as each knife every month has been. I realize this is the way that it is set up, and it is the luck of the draw. I just wish people that contribute to this forum could reap the benefits of these generous knife give aways.

PS. It aint sour grapes as I don't expect to ever win anything! Just wish these knives would go to people who log on to this site more than a few times a year. Smoke
