Knives branded with wristwatch logos and such

Post by sakoblade »

I have many interests in life apart from knives and I am very interested in vintage wristwatches, even though I only own a few fairly inexpensive watches.
Most of them are Japanese brands bought new but I also try to pick up watches at fleamarkets and such.

Inspired by a guy at a Swedish watch collectors forum, I have been trying to find knives with logos from various watch makers but I have failed so far.

So I wonder if there are any owners of such knives here at AAPK?

If so, please share what you have! :)

I'll attch a few pics I borrowed from the world wide web.

And yes, I am very interested in obtaining all such knives, especially the Seiko branded one.

That is a cool concept in collecting.
I suppose the only knife I have that is related to a watch company would be Victorianox, but the knives were not made specifically as watch advertising knives.

I wear a Wenger watch and I suppose that if I dug around here I'd find a Wenger knife to match up with it. :D

I would love to own a Wenger Minathon, complete with Bergeon watch tools, but they are a bit too expensive for my taste.
But as in so many other situations, eventually, I'll probably just cave in and cough up the dough.

Perhaps not the perfect solution for watch tools but a good tool to have in ones pocket, for swapping an occasional battery or bracelet.

Aha! Another wristwatch enthusiast! One of my my passions for a long time and strangely enough the guy who got me into collecting watches was also a knife collector. We used to trade watches and knives back and for many years.
For some strange reason I don't have any knives with watch logos;the only item I have like that is a miniature silver spoon with the Rolex Bucherer logo on the top.
If there is any interest I can post some pictures of my watches in the General Off Topic forum.

I have a two blade Victorinox with black handles and the logo of and the name Baume & Mercier / Geneve / 1830, inlayed.

Master blade is a spear and secondary is a tool for opening the back of a pocketwatch.

I bought it off Ebay and use it open the several pocketwatches I own.

I assume it would open a wristwatch back if it was a snap-on, and not a screw-on.

Here are a couple watches that have knives in them(or vice versa).
A money clip knife with a 17 jewel Regalia watch in the end.Unfortunately the crown is missing from the watch.
A Colibri clip on watch advertising CX Gear(whatever that is)that also features a compass ans 2 knife blades.

No real name brands;at least that I have ever heard of:
From top to bottom:Buler;Namruf;unmarked Japanese;Mazal;and Bradley. The Japanese model is quartz and the rest are 17 jewel Swiss manual wind models. One is missing the crown.

Thanks! Most brands are new to me but Buler is fairly well known Swiss brand.
