Greg, that's a dandy.
Thanks Wade! I find it hard to let those kind of deals pass. ::drool::

I have an affinity for Jacks and couldn't pass up this Camillus 18. From the sellers pictures, it looks to be in factory condition. With the Indian Stag, post mounted handles I would say early to mid-1980s. That makes #4 and the one in the best condition.

This little Rough Rider 2" jack was only $6 so what could I do? Most likely it will end up as a gift. I haven't sent anything to David The Destroyer in quite some time so maybe it will go south. ::shrug::

That's one of the cleanest little Camillus jacks I've seen. Looks real good.

Sure is a nice one Bruno! Your eye for Cases seems to be the match of your eye for Queens.

Y'all are gonna make me go out and find a yeller 99 at this rate... ::dang::

Thanks. That 99 was up for auction on ebay and I really didn't think I'd win it with the bid I placed. Sometimes you get lucky. ::tu::
BTW....you don't have to look far for a 99. Steve P. just listed one in the AAPK store.

I know the feeling, Jerry! I'm only now getting used to ordering out every once in a while now that I've reached a decent plateau in my knife-hoard.

GEC, Queen, Case and Boker seem to be dictating my finances more than the S&P these days! I took a brief break from some of my ebay searches too, though I just know I'm going to miss something I've wanted for a long time. No such luck avoiding it on AAPK, though - temptation literally scrolls across the top of my screen or phone whenever I'm here. ::facepalm::

Well I've been ornery and broke my no buying spree. It's been awhile since I bought a case, this one is going to be a great edc with beautiful bright red bone and carbon blades.

6347? What a great carry. Right length, round bolsters, hollow-ground master (?). ::tu:: I can't own a knife that color; I would lay it on the fender of my red '79 Ford and that would be the end of it. :(

Greg I have a feeling we will be seeing it in the edc thread quite often.

Yes Cal, 6347. If it's anything like the other modern cases I have it should have a hollow grind. Most modern cases are very good cutters, especially after laying the edge angle back a bit. Are you saying a red knife would blend in if you set it on your fender and you would not see it before you drove off?

Yes, that was the gag. I probably would not, but you never know. I laid a CASE/BOSE stag dogleg jack on the fender of a trailer once and I don't have it anymore. :( ::dang::

My dad carried a Craftsman stockman and I didn't get his knives (long ugly story involving a second marriage) so I bought this Craftsman Stockman because it was inexpensive. Is it just like Dad's knife? Probably not but it's close enough for government work. I'll clean it up some and it'll be just fine. Does this look Ulster made to anyone other than me? (It's the orange handles and the jigging.)

Don't forget pictures Don. Are the 48s the single blade variety?

That looks exactly like an ulster 98 stock that I have. I'm pretty certain schrade made both.

Thanks Paul. I figured, because I have an Ulster 63 with those handles. They are not attractive.

Yes, but never really learned it or the computer that much. Big computer has been down. Think the power supply went out again. Doing my reading on my phone and tablet right now.

There may be a way to get pictures from the camera to the phone or tablet but if there is, I don't know how. However, it's pretty easy to post pictures taken on your phone or tablet. There's a tutorial in the "Tips & Tricks" forum. Of course unless you don't want to bother with it, then all of that is irrelevant.
