In addition to mint and vintage

Post by jljr1944 »

In addition to the "mint" and "vintage" adjectives used in sellers listings here are 5 more.
They are "wow" , "great" , "wonderful" , "gorgeous" , "super". Can you guess which adjective is used more than 10 times more than any of the others.
Yes, I know I have to much time on my hands.

If you're talking about something other than "mint" and "vintage" I'm going to say "WOW" is the next most used adjective

You mean the most overworked word of the last decade, "AWESOME" didn't even place??? What kind of creative writing is that? OH

Germans prefer "better than new" in their descriptions although you got to ask yourself what can be better than new? ::facepalm::

I just did a search on "awesome" under vintage knives and only came up with 98 matches. At the time I did my original search "great" had the most matches with 2819. I searched each adjective in the title and description under vintage knives only.

Results at the time of my search

wow got 43 matches
wonderful got 276 matches
gorgeous got 260 matches
super got 715 matches
great got 2819 matches

What about 'extreme'? Seems like everything is these days. Well past over-used.
