Current "Scagel" licensed manufacturer

Post by tuffpup »

What company or individual currently holds the rights to manufacture knives using the Scagel name? I have heard that Northwoods no longer is the manufacturer. Also, who is the individual that owns the rights to the Scagel name? If a comp any was interested in using the name, who would they have to seek permission or a license from?

Derrick Bohn at KSF owns the name and Mike Stewart at Bark River Knives manufactures them for him. Outstanding quality.

From Knivesshipfree link....

Right now we have a couple upswept designs in the hands of Bark River to make as our next fixed blades and we have two excellent designs on pocket knives out to both Queen and Great Eastern for quotes.

We don't have any plans to remake any of the Northwoods designs. They are history we don't want to mess with.

Here's the finished Northwoods project between KSF & GEC. http://www.knivesshipfree.com/index.php ... 75_540_962 It's a great looking knife. I just wish it was bigger.
