Queen/S&M special Mountain Man

Post by noddy »

Feeling a little out of the loop on this matter

I typed Queen Cutlery into a google search and this page http://www.queencutlery.com/ sprang to the top

Click it and there are some very interesting D2 mountain Man lockback variations

Are these available now, does anyone know? :)

Don't know if they are actually available; your best bet might be to check with the factory for a stocking dealer.

But a caution: Queen has seemingly always had problems with excessive front-to-back and side-to-side play on these. Some are OK, but if you check the forums you'll see that there have been a lot of problems. I really like the design, but wouldn't get one without examining it first, or buying from an individual I trust.

Noddy I checked the AAPK stores and found one seller who has a couple of the Queen version of those knives for sale. Here's a link to his listing.

And here's a Schatt & Morgan model. (I don't think it's got D2 steel however)

Thanks Philco

as to the state of the lockback, i am with you and know about it all too well being the proud owner of a stag/1095 and a cobo/d2 version

I did have a go of a s&m file and wire, ats 34 version which had a sound lock. Fingers crossed for these eh?
