Don't know, singin ::shrug::
The prefixes for the model No.'s were:

st - stag
kp - simulated mother of pearl
ac - assorted colors
os - outdoor scene

Guess we get to name them ourselves ::ds::

That one is now OFFICIALLY named "Flamin' Cell". :lol:

Just picked up this one of kind solid celluloid etched 1930s, before the shells started, Cattleman pattern. Never used. This is probably one of one left in this original condition! You don't see these every day boys!

Here it is, older (before the shells came out) Hammer Brand, solid celluloid Cattleman
pattern. Stamp indicates year of 1936 to 37'. Has the original etch on the main!
This is a rare knife indeed to find in this condition, All original edges on blades looks like. :mrgreen: Hope ya like it.
I finally snagged an original X-sleeve stamp! ::ds::

Time to switch to Tinypic.com unless you just use the AAPK site to load pics. That's what I do.

How on earth did it survive in that condition???

Nice pick Paul! That's an unusual one, having the shield with the Hammer stamp! ::tu::

Cool little Hammer Gino! ::tu:: Hey Mark, the "X" sleeve refers to the back of the shirt sleeve on the arm of this stamp.

Here is a few of mine. The top one is not a hammer. I really dont know anything about it. One blade says X L inside a triangle Cutlery. Japan on the other blade. Not real old but I know I have had it for over 25 years. My favorite has always been the silver hammer.
