Schmidt Germany 4 blade Mother of Pearl

Post by billybones »

I'm new and haven't figured out how to post a photo...but i have a general question about the knife listed. Its about 2 3/4 inches long, some rust on blades, one cracked side...and is marked only Schmidt Germany. Does this knife have any "value"??? Thanks

Thanks for the photos. With the Germany stamp it was made after 1891 likely for export to the American market. I would estimate that it was made 1900ish to WWI. Sorry, I don't know much about the specific maker. Schmidt is a common name. It is a typical pattern in fair condition. It has some historical interest but limited monetary value IMO. I hope this helps a little :) s-k
