Some great knives you guys got. Fan of the Remingtons myself and own a few, mostly Scout patterns. Here's some of mine......

Here's a bunch of my other Remington Scouts mixed in with other makes.....

And recently I snagged up a minty 1999 Ranch Hand Bullet Knife off of the 'bay. Haven't got pics taken of that yet though.

Dave O, I hope ::pray:: to one day have a set of bullet knives like you have, really awesome!

2xTap, looks like you picked up a 2009 Boy Scout Remington. I've had my eye on one of them lately.

I added a 30th Anniversary Bullet Poster to my Remington knife area and took some pix. Also took a few of some older Remingtons and a fixed blade with plaque from 1991's 150th anniversary. I really like them! ::nod::

Took some more pictures of some Remingtons that I have that are a little different - a Sure Shot with a shot gun cartridge shield, a Turkey Knife with a pin punch & choke wrench, a candy stripe large toothpick (which is showing signs of gassing), a Damascus grand daddy barlow and a red bone cheetah. All are made in the good old USA! ::tu::

I also have a banana lockback hunter that I'm going to post in a different thread. Yes, I'm a fan of USA made Remingtons! ::groove::

Nice one Gino, I was looking at one of those a couple weeks back but didn't bid on it and wound up getting something else. Here's my latest Rem, a R103 Ranch Hand Bullet from 1999.....

Gino,

I am not one to part with knives that I buy usually but if the time comes to pass that I do, you are at the top of the list for this one.

One year ago Gino posted a picture of a Remington RY4. Awhile back I traded for a Camillus 716 (yellow derlin) double lock back and realized it had something in common with the RY4. Did a little search and found several references that told me the RY4 was made by Camillus. I then got the bug and had to have an RY4 to keep the Camillus 716 company. I found one advertised on a internet knife site that I could afford. The RY4 was the cheapest pocket knife I saw on their site. When I called the company and asked about the knife the man said they'd had it for several months and he was surprised that it had not sold. It appears to be as advertised, new old stock complete with box and some paper work. I have several other Remingtons but none are vintage knives. As the ol' saying goes, "I'm as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine" with my RY4!

That's a nice advertiser. I really like advertising knives. You should go ahead and restore it the rest of the way so it doesn't look funny. Great knife. Let me know if you decide to part with it ever.
