That is nice. A Queen #10 circa 1935-55, with Rogers bone. Love the Queen #10. ::tu::

Pretty decent haul today. 98ot ramrod, 197uh cat paw and 34ot red bone all unused & unsharpened. I may carry the 197uh it's kind of interesting, never had a liner lock that wasn't a modern one hander.

So you was the one that beat me out on that red bone 34OT? ::huff::

Well that's OK.. I got this sweet 34OT SS in to make me feel better. ::woot::

This one is in my top 10 to collect, maybe top 5.

Schrade 8OT RB - red bone, still NOS in the brown box. I've had it a while, so it's not a new pickup, but it sort of belongs here. OH

Niiice, I like that one! I could be wrong but I think that may be an EOD knife. It has heritage threaded bolsters and smooth red bone but not the heritage shield plus the 8ot blade, not a combination that ever existed that I know of. It looks very good and with 8ot carbon blades would make a nice carry. Wouldn't hurt my feelings putting the patina on that one if its an EOD ::nod::

Does the end of the box say 8ot or 8ot rb?

I agree with KS, that's probably a EOD knife. But that's not a bad thing tho. I find their departure from the normal production or 'official' release knifes very unique and interesting. And that red bone is a fine example too. ::tu::

Here some EOD examples I have. They can make for some really good looking Schrades.

EOD = end of days. Referring the the last days of Schrade when the employees were piecing together knives from the remaining parts inventory.

In a seperate context it could also mean explosive ordnance disposal knife, which in that case it may end up looking like this....

Box is ink stamped 8OT RB.

Well then I'm stumped. I looked these up and found some random pictures and a thread in bladeforums. Not an EOD, but still not quite standard. Either was its really nice ::tu::

It won't end, there's too many variations. I will never be able to stop buying 8ot's and other schrade stocks with the same frame as long as I live ::doh::

Greg, what model of Case Trapper are those - looks shorter than an 07 pattern (guess that could be an optical illusion). All three are nice looking. OH

Kerry, one of your knives appears to be an 18 pattern Case - got a blade open shot yet? OH
