Love the slick black jack Jerry.
I was toting these two in the woods today...

All great carries boys.
Today at work it's this Buck in Sandvik. Lightweight, it's just right in a lot of ways.
Not to mention it doesn't intimidate most folks.
ps Old Photo when it was new

Happy Saturday Gents! Heading out to the farm to scout for turkey and shoot a couple of rifles. Have this Buck 110 that recently returned from the Buck Spa on my belt and this Case 6318 in my pocket. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Terrific totes lately, all. Always like seeing the knives you carry, sako, it's a fresh perspective and always a new cutler to me.
It was easy being green all week, got these with me still.

Thanks Jim. It's a post walden schrade 881 on the left, match strike pull and delrin handles, pretty decent looking for delrin. The right is a gec 71 bullnose, is a medium size sodbuster with linen micarta handles. Both knives are 1095 steel. They are some of my favorite options for hard working knives that I don't get all picky about using.sakoblade wrote:Wow! Double wow! Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
knifeslinger, thanks for letting me know! I have been looking at GEC's website on many occasions and one day soon I will order one from them. I have a sweet tooth for sodbusters so I might opt for one of those or maybe a Barlow, a knife I do not yet own.KnifeSlinger#81 wrote:Thanks Jim. Almost forgot!
It's a vintage Sunday and I don't expect any hard labour today so I'll be carrying a Rawson Brothers out of Sheffield.

I'm heading to a gun/knife show in Amarillo this morning. Thought I'd try to look respectable. Carrying this tested folding hunter.

Still hanging in there with my old '50s Boker (nickel silver all through, semi-sunken joints, round bolsters); makes me happy. Stinky old carbon steel. Oh... and a Benchmade Barrage, too.
