Knife Pocket Protector???

Post by Sswingle »

This may seem like a bizzare question, but does anybody know of a protector that one can place in their pocket (with the knife in it, of course) to cut down on the wear of knife (from just carrying it in your pocket all day)?

I have a small leather pouch that I got from Mr. Wolfe (El Lobo) sometime back. It's for a small pen knife or such (3" or shorter). No way to attach it to a belt, so I assumed it would go into the pocket.

Try here. I have several of the slip cases and like them a lot.

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

HI!

I made my own out of a piece of suede leather. Got it out of a old book. Hooks to your belt, then teathered in to your pocket. Made a good project.

My wife made some for me out of nice soft leather with her Singer, made to fit what ever size knife you have.

http://www.xxcutlery.com (I have no affiliation) has 3 different sizes of Case suede pouches. They have a little velcro closure on the flap.

I have some, and I like'em OK.

I make mine. Pick up some soft leather from Tandy. My shop here in town normally has scraps in a box and I just fold them over to the size knife I have and sew em up with waxed thread. Keeps change away from handles and bolsters. But the manufactured mentioned above are a bit prettier than mine!!!
