Kent N.Y. City

Here is a large folder stamped "KENT" over "N.Y. CITY" with celluloid scales and shield. It seems unused with an unsharpened blade, and has some nice patina. I don't know anything about the maker and would appreciate any information from forum members.

These knives were made for Woolworths by Camillus from 1931 to 1955 according to Goins. This particular knife seems to be from the '30's (?).

I have one very much like this one, only without the nice shield and the grooved bolster.

Desktop,

Let me first say "FANTASTIC" photos! ::tu::

I also came across a Scout Knife today Marked KENT over NY City and was pretty intrigued. First time I came across this company as well. I did find that this knife was made in the early thirties.........Not my type of knife (I am a Schradeaholic), however, it was interesting.

Your knife is stunning as well!

Thanks

Tom
