Great Work Kaleb!!

Post by CaseChaserXX »

I just want to share a few pictures of some knives Muskrat Man worked his magic on. These knives had all been altered in someway to deceive buyers, Now anyone can see clearly see that they are not originals. M.M. did excellent work on the bolsters, beautiful file work on the springs, and removed the engraving on the blades, which were very misleading. I'll just show a few for now there's 7 total, I'll show the others at a later date.

The file work on that trapper is some of the most nicely matched (point-to-point) of any file work I have seen!
Vine & leaf is not an easy pattern to put side by side in a knife with 2 back springs. Kaleb did an outstanding job here! ::tu::

Nice work Kaleb!

Excellent! ::drool::

I'm with Luckypaul, curious about the bolsters. Kinda look like clam shells. :wink:

Glad you like them Joe.

The bolster work is something new I thought up, one of those late 3 am deals where you're sitting there drawing stuff up and an idea pops in your head, tried it the next morning on a scrap peice of NS and liked the way it looked,

Joe, you're lucky enough those are the first knives I have done with that bolster work that aren't still in my possesion. you got the firsts :D . They were a fun bunch of knives ,the trapper was my favorite.
