I've been carrying a Camillus Silver Sword 802 a lot lately. It's small and comfortable in the pocket and non-threatening to use in the office. But when I think about it, what I like the most about this knife is the coping blade. This is the perfect blade to open boxes, make scores, slit envelopes, cut string or hack open one of those wretched plastic clamshells that many things are packaged in now. In my opinion, the best knife is the knife that gets used the most, and the Camillus is turning into my best knife. It has a clip blade as well, for peeling apples.

I am a coping blade fan myself. I think that i like the california clip blade just as well though.

I agree - I always carry a whittler with a coping blade or a stockman with a sheepsfoot blade.

I also sometimes carry a sway back jack with a wharncliff blade. The coping, sheepsfoot, and wharncliff blades are very similar (at least to me) with the straight, flat, cutting edge and sharp point, and they seem to be the blades that I use most often.

I frequently carry a Boker congress that has two sheepsfoot blades, a coping blade, and a pen blade. The sheepsfoot blades do the majority of the cutting but that coping blade sure does come in handy when a little finese' is called for. I have sharpened all the blades today and those strait edges sure are a lot simpler to get a good edge on.

Coping/sheepfoot/wharncliffe are my second favorite blades. Spear baby! is #1
