Our own Forensic Jim hooked me up with this beauty. It is a Amherst Cutlery Trapper. The trapper pattern is my favorite pattern and stag is my favorite scales so this beauty is perfect for me. I took pics of it next to a Case India Stag Trapper,Boker Stag Trapper,and a NYKC Hammer Brand Trapper so you could tell just how gnarly the stag on the Amherst is. Thanks again Jim ::tu:: :mrgreen: ::ds::

Thanks Guys! Yes Pete they are all real stag. I know they are made in the USA but you will have to ask FJ where exactly ::tu::

Sorry Pete I didn't read all your question.They all have good snap opening and closing,but the Amherst snaps closed like a GATOR ::nod:: Definitely the strongest of the four. ::tu::

VERY good looking trappers.. ::tu::

I have an Amherst in stag also, but she is not a trapper.

Like yours she snaps real well and smooth.

Amherst Daddy Barlow Stag 154cm 2 blade 3 1/4" 7 3/8 "

I see your bolsters are polished. Not mine.

Are your blades polished also? Mine are not.

They are brushed like the bolsters. Perhaps to match ??
