Please let me know your thoughts on this one, I have never seen a wharncliff blade in a Catt frame like this one. The frame looks like a 32889 4" closed whittler. I have a catalog with a picture of the knife and the main blade is a clip.
Has anyone else seen a wharncliff main blade in a frame like this, Catt or no Catt.
I'm not bidding on the knife just wanted to see what others think. Thanks Mike

Re: Cattaraugus whittler
Mike I believe it is a cobbled together knife from left over parts.Master is the only blade marked and no pattern #.It's pretty, but in my opinion it ain't right.

At a not close but first look it doesn't look right to me so I'll go with that.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Yep, those are my thoughts also!! Great bone on it though
Re: Cattaraugus whittler
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong. I agree with Galvanic1882. Frame, pen blade and spey likely from a 32889. Main blade likely from a 32131 or a 32139.
Only 4" Whittler Catt. made had a clip main blade.
