Fake Case Tested Canoe

Here is a supposed Case Tested stag canoe. The knife and frame appear to be from a USA era Case canoe. Color of the stag is wrong for an older Tested era knife. $599.99 starting bid.

Again we see the fake stamp has the square impression of the die block forming a frame around the "TESTED XX" portion of the stamp. This is something that I have been seeing more and more of on eBay and definitely something to look for on any tang stamp.

Not sure if the seller knows it's a fake or not but that doesn't make it real.

Looks like he's cut the price by near half. Down from $1150 to $599. Guess he's got a little room to negotiate.
