The two smaller blades don't even look like they're from a Case knife. That's pretty bold.

Listing now says it was ended early (with no bids) by the seller due to error in the listing. Hopefully it's an honest seller who realized the knife was counterfeit.

Edit: knife is back, re-listed as "Fake Case Tested XX"! http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAKE-Case-Teste ... Sw2GlXHRtO

::tu:: ::tu:: .... too bad we don't have special funds on AAPK to get these knives and put them in those metal crushers like old cars to be flattened and destroyed - in fact the whole display case of fakes from the NKCA Museum should have been destroyed as well in the same way ::nod:: .... not that this one was from there... just saying

So right! Unfortunately someone without scruples like tommygg101 will buy this one and re-sell it. ::barf:: Sledge hammer, or use it for target practice is the best solution.

If you think about it, if the manufacturers had published in their catalogs the actual weight of a knife pattern in ounces or grams, we'd have a much better handle on the amount of use or alteration a particular knife had experienced in its lifetime.

A "Mint" knife listed on Ebay that did not weigh, within a reasonable +/-, what it weighed when it was made could not possibly be mint.

The whole NKCA grading system would have been different.

Every table at a knife show would have an accurate, or doctored ::facepalm:: ::hmm:: , scale on it.

Random thoughts prompted by strange Ebay listings.
