I see two major red flags in the listing (Never mind the knife itself). The seller claims the knife is an estate find and then explains that he is "not an expert". Both those statements would appear to me to be distancing the seller from taking any responsibility should the knife prove problematic. Those two statements on their own would be enough to keep me from bidding.

It seems that the cotton sampler has become a favorite to fake. Look closely at any minty cotton sampler of any brand. This is at least the third fake Case turd that has recently floated up the the surface of the polluted bay waters.
