Another Purina

Here is another Purina from the same seller in a very unusual pattern. Notice this knife and the other one in this forum have handles that look like new on them? I'll bet that is more than a coincidence.

I would imagine that these blades have been reprofiled extensively but I believe the knife itself is not fake. Purina knives don't bring enough money in my opinion for someone to bother counterfeiting.

I have seen a few of these as well as the other Purina the seller has listed. I did own a non-Purina Kutmaster that had the same strange mini-hawkbill blade though I can't remember what the secondary blade was. The second blade in this knife looks like a box opener. I do not think the blades have been reprofiled at all.

Like some of the other very questionable coca-cola, double shield, oak leaf shield, etc, Kutmasters that have popped up over the past recent years I think these are factory parts. How or why they have appeared on the market is a question for me at least.
