Catt's on ebay

Post by galvanic1882 »

What do you all think of the Catt's that this seller has on ebay? I love the gunstock whittler but the main blade looks like a replacement? He has others for sale also.

It also looks like something is going on at the lower end.

Can't say that I like any of the knives all that much. I think the big stag jack is at the bottom of my list.

As Wayne mentioned in another thread - the backsprings are not flush with
the main blade on the Catt whittler.

Whats up with the "divider" between the springs too? Shouldent it be brass if
it has one at all? (I cant see one - may be just my eyes are bad or a bad pic)

I've got a camouflage knife, but I can't find it.......

The blade tip sets way too low on the E.O. 121453725635. If that is a 24399 this is the way it should be.

In addition, any time I see a blade that opens past a flat 180 degree plane with the back spring it's a bad omen. That EO master blade looks to be past 180 deg. and looks like the blade back sits above the spring when open. ::hmm::

Thanks for all the posts on these knives. It really stinks that a person does not represent what they are selling properly!!
